All finished!

Well, with the grid any way.
I stitched the grid all in black using a stem or outlining stitch (I think).
The silky thread I tried at first didn't behave well at all, so I pulled it out and started again with black cotton floss. That worked much better!

I will finish my 39 squares this week hopefully and since the grid
is now complete I can jump right into counting my blessings!

  1. Ohhh, I like how you changed the grid to have some larger blocks - not just a straight 10 x 10. Soooo, what goes in those big blocks?!?! Come on...inquiring minds would like to know.

  2. Thank you Denise! Well... if you insist...The toppermost large square will have a photo of our family and the bottomermost square will have a photo of my two sons. They will probably be printed onto fabric, then sewn on but I'm not certain about that. I'm still cipherin' on what will go in the smaller rectangles.

Ciphering (in case you are wondering) is a southern term I recently learned that seems to mean to think on something or you can cipher (discuss/figure out) with others.
